Police seek five robbers who broke in to Alimos home

A man and his two sons were tied up by robbers that broke into their home in Alimos, southern Athens, early on Tuesday.

According to police, the five robbers forced open a balcony door at around 3.20 a.m. and threatened the three victims with a firearm.

They tied up the three men and hit the father over the head with an iron bar so he would tell the assailants where there was cash hidden in the property.

They robbers made off with an unspecified amount of money and valuables.
