Workman dies after falling off roof in Alexandroupoli
Police in Alexandroupoli were on Wednesday investigating the circumstances of the death of a 37-year-old laborer who had been repairing the tiled roof of a house in the city in northeastern Greece on Tuesday.
The worker, an Albanian national, was transferred to the city’s general hospital after falling off the roof but medics declared him dead on arrival.
Police detained the 37-year-old supervisor of the project and the two owners of the property for questioning.
