Earthquake measuring 3.3 Richter shakes Athens
An earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale struck Athens at 8.30 a.m. on Friday.
Although not particularly strong, the tremor was felt keenly in most parts of the capital as the epicenter was in northern Athens.
Seismologists’ put the quake’s epicenter 10 kilometers northeast of central Athens, in the suburb of Maroussi.
There were no immediate reports of injury or damage and seismologists said there was no cause for concern.
