To Potami leader to set out coalition terms

To Potami leader Stavros Theodorakis is on Wednesday expected to say that he will not consider working with SYRIZA after the elections unless the leftists agree to conclude the pending troika review before launching any discussion with Greece’s lenders about debt relief.

Theodorakis is due to hold the one nationally televised news conference he is entitled to and will try to use this as an opportunity to state where his centrist party stands on the issue of forming a coalition or cooperating with SYRIZA if the leftists win Sunday’s vote.

Sources said that Theodorakis will also outline To Potami’s proposals for amendments to Greece’s program, including a request that primary surplus targets are reduced from 4.5 percent of gross domestic product next year to 2 percent.
