High school roof blown off by strong winds in northern Greece
Gale-force winds blew the roof off a high school in Imathia, northern Greece, in one of many weather-related incidents over the weekend.
The 600 square meter roof was constructed from wood and steel. Nobody was at the school when it was blown off.
Wind and heavy rain cause problems in central and northern Greece over the weekend.
About 50 people in Nafpaktia have been left stranded by rockfalls, which blocked mountain roads. Dozens of villages in Trikala and Arta suffered floods.
