Greek police nab man wanted in 21-year-old murder case

A 44-year-old Albanian man was arrested on Tuesday while he was attempting to cross into Greece as he is wanted for a murder committed 21 years ago.

The 44-year-old man was arrested at the Krystalopigi border crossing in Florina.

He is alleged to have murdered a fellow Albanian with an ax near Kavala in 1994.

An arrest warrant had been issued for the 44-year-old.
