Fourteen Athens hospital employees charged over state losses

Eight employees and six doctors at a public hospital in Athens were charged on Tuesday with breach of faith with regard to the purchase of blood coagulants between 2007 and 2009.

According to the case file, the state suffered losses of 3.2 million euros because the hospital did not hold a tender for the contract to supply the coagulants.
