At least six immigrants drown after boat sinks off Symi

At least six people have been reported dead after a boat they were sailing in sank off the island of Symi in the southeastern Aegean Sea, Greek authorities said Saturday, adding that five passengers have been declared missing.

Greek and Turkish coast guard officers managed to save six people who were aboard the vessel, authorities said. There was no information about their nationalities as none had travel documents.
