Authorities in Thessaloniki have brought fraud charges against a 63-year-old woman who is alleged to have been cashing her dead mother’s pension for eight years.

The woman, who was still being sought by police late last night, is understood to have pocketed a total of 82,677 euros in the period between October 2004 and July 2012, according to police sources.
