Parliament to vote on lifting Golden Dawn MP’s immunity, again

Prosecutors on Friday asked Parliament to hold a vote on whether Golden Dawn spokesman Ilias Kasidiaris should face trial for inciting residents of Aspropyrgos, west of Athens, to violence against migrants in 2011.

In a speech to party supporters, Kasidiaris told them to “get rid of the human trash that they have dumped on you, who rob, murder and commit crimes.”

MPs have already voted several times to lift the immunity of Kasidiaris, who is currently in pre-trial custody.
