Teen in Corfu accused of beating, killing his mother
A 17-year-old boy on the Ionian island of Corfu faced charges of using deadly force on Friday after allegedly beating and killing his 53-year-old mother last week.
The teenager and his mother allegedly got into an argument last Saturday, during which he lost control and hit her in the stomach.
The blow caused internal injuries from which she succumbed three days later in hospital.
