Police nab gang growing cannabis in Greek capital

Police in Attica on Thursday arrested six suspected members of a cannabis ring – five Vietnamese nationals and one Greek – who are alleged to have made some 50 million euros in profits by producing high-quality cannabis in three maisonettes in Pendeli, Pikermi and Lagonissi.

According to police, the racket used advanced technology to produce hydroponic cannabis, which it sold for between 5,000 and 10,000 euros per kilogram.
