Cephalonia hit by 4.2 Richter earthquake
An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale struck the Ionian island of Cephalonia, at 7.38 a.m. on Saturday.
There were no reports of damage or injuries.
The Geodynamic Institute said the epicenter of the quake was 14 kilometers northwest of the island.
The island suffered serious damage after being hit by two strong quakes measuring 5.7 and 5.8 Richter respectively, in January and February last year.
