Six Turkish fighter jets violate Greek air space

A formation of six Turkish fighter jets, two of which were armed, violated Greek air space on four occasions on Tuesday, Greek authorities said.

The aircraft were chased off by Greek fighter jets, according to Greek defense officials.

The violations took place just a few days before Greek and Turkish diplomats are expected to begin talks regarding measures that would boost confidence between the two countries.
