Kotzias to begin US visit with Kerry meeting in Washington

Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias is due to begin a five-day visit to the US on Monday.

He will begin his trip by meeting Secretary of State John Kerry in Washington, where he will also hold talks with National Security Adviser Susan Rice.

On Friday, Kotzias is due to meet in New York with United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the mediator for Greece’s name dispute with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), Matthew Nimetz.

Defense Minister Panos Kammenos is due to visit Washington for talks with US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter during May.

Kammenos is due in Cairo for talks on Monday and Tuesday. He will meet his Egyptian counterpart Sedki Sobhi during his visit.
