Traffic diversions for Labor Day, Athens Half Marathon
Traffic police in Athens were expected to close off sections of the city’s road network and divert traffic on Friday due to Labor Day rallies and events.
Traffic disruptions were expected around Syntagma Square, Klafthmonos Square and the National Archaeological Museum located on Patission Street, starting at 8 a.m.
Traffic was also expected to be diverted in central Athens on Sunday due to the Athens Half Marathon. According to authorities, traffic was expected to be diverted from 8 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
