PASOK to hold leadership vote on June 14
PASOK has decided to hold its leadership contest on Sunday, June 14.
The decision was taken at a party meeting on Thursday, when current leader Evangelos Venizelos stood by his intention, announced earlier this year, to stand down.
This means PASOK’s congress will be held between June 5 and 7, while the leadership ballot will take place a week later.
MP Odysseas Constantinopoulos is the only Socialist lawmaker or party member to have officially announced that he will stand in the contest.
