Development Minister Vasso Papandreou dances with metro construction workers yesterday in an underground site in Halandri, northern Athens, where a new station is being built on the metro’s extension from Ethniki Amyna to Aghia Paraskevi. The party was held on the occasion of the feast day of St Barbara – the patron saint of tunnel-diggers.
