A cameraman films the metal roof of the velodrome which is being constructed at Athens’s Olympic Center, during a press tour staged by Athens 2004 Games organizers yesterday. The roof, designed by award-winning Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, will be lifted by huge cranes which will place it in position above the velodrome. Calatrava has also designed a metal and glass roof for the main Olympic Stadium.
