Mother of murdered 4-year-old denies involvement in crime
The mother of a 4-year-old girl allegedly killed by her biological father claimed on Thursday she had no involvement in the murder of her daughter, whom she had reported missing last month.
Police believe that while the 25-year-old Dimitrina Borisova was not directly implicated in the murder of 4-year-old Ani, she had subsequently contributed to efforts made by her partner and alleged killer, a 27-year-old Bulgarian national, to avoid arrest.
Borisova is facing charges for perjury and putting an infant at risk.
