Cyber police arrest 22-year-old for sexual blackmail of 14-year-old girl
Officers of the police’s cyber crimes unit on Thursday announced the arrest of a 22-year-old man who is alleged to have forced a 14-year-old girl to send him videos of herself naked and in sexually provocative poses by threatening that he would otherwise post on the Internet a doctored photograph of a naked woman with the girl’s head superimposed on it.
According to sources, the girl contacted police after the suspect insisted that she send him additional videos of herself, using the same threat to upload the doctored photograph on the Internet.
After a two-month investigation, officers traced the suspect to his Attica home and recovered the videos of the girl and other material from the premises. He faces charges of child pornography over the Internet.
