Young woman arrested in Athens suburb for pickpocketing
Police arrested a 19-year-old woman in Halandri, northeastern Athens, on Friday after she attempted to steal a woman’s purse while the victim was shopping.
Authorities said that after questioning the teenager, who is from Bulgaria, they discovered that she was responsible for 13 pickpocketing incidents in Halandri over the last three months.
