Trial of nursing student accused of stabbing peers adjourned to 2016
The trial of a 22-year-old nursing student who allegedly stabbed three fellow students in April has been adjourned to March next year.
The 22-year-old, who is facing charges of grievous bodily harm, alleged in her initial deposition that she had been a victim of bullying at the nursing school, which is operated by Greece’s Manpower Organization (OAED).
According to the case file, authorities had come across handwritten notes in the 22-year-old’s handbag in which she noted that she didn’t want “to kill them” or “injure them,” but just wanted “to stop them.”
Meanwhile, it emerged on Monday that when the 22-year-old returned to the nursing school in order to sit end-of-year examinations she was informed by school authorities that she had failed the academic year due to absences.
