Four killed in Kilkis car crash
Four people died and one person was seriously injured in a car crash on the outskirts of Polykastro in Kilkis, northern Greece, late on Sunday.
According to early reports, the incident occurred when the 53-year-old driver of a car veered into the opposite lane and crashed into an oncoming vehicle.
A 56-year-old passenger riding in the first car, the 57-year-old driver of the second car and another two male passengers died in the crash.
The 53-year-old driver was taken to a local hospital where he underwent surgery.
An investigation into the causes of the crash was under way.
