Public toilets in Athens to reopen or extend opening hours

The City of Athens on Tuesday announced that 25 of the capital’s public toilets would either reopen after remaining closed for security reasons for several years or be kept open for longer hours.

Facilities at Syntagma Square, the Acropolis, Psyrri Square and the City of Athens Cultural Center on Academias Street will operate from 7 a.m. to 3 a.m., municipal authorities said.

All public toilets will have permanent staff.
