Police look for opera hold-up man
The concert had been scheduled to take place at the municipal Olympia Theater in central Athens on April 29, under the aegis of the Embassy of Israel.
Police are seeking an armed robber who burst into the Greek National Opera box office in central Athens on Wednesday morning and forced the cashier to hand over 11,000 euros, the GNO said over the weekend.
The cashier sustained minor injuries during the holdup and was briefly hospitalized for treatment, the GNO said.
Staff who witnessed the raid have testified to police, it added.
