More than 20 civil servants faced disciplinary action in 2014

More than 20 civil servants faced disciplinary action last year as a result of probes carried out by the General Inspector for Public Administration Leandros Rakintzis, the watchdog said in his annual report Monday.

A total of 22 public sector workers were charged with a range of offenses and were due to go through the civil service’s disciplinary process as a result of action taken by Rakintzis.
