Hand grenade found off popular Athens beach
Coast guard officers cordoned off a beach in Glyfada, south of Athens, on Wednesday after a life guard discovered a hand grenade on the seabed just a few meters away from the shore.
Members of the coast guard’s special diving unit were dispatched to the scene to remove the device.
