Firemen battling fires in Attica, Ileia, Rhodes
A fire that broke out at around 11 a.m. on Thursday in the area of Magoula, western Attica, was expected to be brought under control on the same day, the fire service reported.
Meanwhile, firefighters were fighting a wildfire in the municipality of Andritsaina-Krestenon in Ileia, in the Peloponnese, which also broke out on Thursday.
Also on Thursday, firemen were battling a blaze in the area of Appolonasa, on the Dodecanse island of Rhodes.
