Greeks warned of heat wave on Monday and Tuesday
Greeks have been advised to protect themselves from the heat as temperatures are expected to reach as high as 38 Celsius on Monday and 39 Celsius on Tuesday.
The City of Athens said it is throwing open the doors to eight of its air-conditioned “friendship centers” in various parts of the capital. Residents will be able to visit from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
