German arrested on Crete on child porn charges
A 49-year-old German national has been arrested on Crete after police found that he was downloading pornography featuring children via a neighbor’s IP address.
Cyber crimes officers found the suspect’s computer hidden on the rooftop of the building where the neighbor lived.
The 49-year-old had allegedly been using a female resident’s wireless Internet connection to acquire thousands of illegal images of children as young as 7 months old.
The suspect has been arrested before for related charges.
