Golden Dawn trial to resume on Tuesday

The trial of Golden Dawn, the far-right party accused of being a criminal organization following the September 2013 murder of Pavlos Fyssas by one of its members will resume on Tuesday.

The proceedings, which have been postponed on several occasions since commencing in April, will take place in a specially designed courtroom in Korydallos Prison, western Athens.

Following reactions from the local community amid security concerns, the Justice Ministry is said to be preparing a new venue for the trial, possibly in the Athens Court of Appeals.
