Farmers launch highway protests over tax measures, social security reform
Farmers in northern Greece began parking their tractors on sections of highways on Wednesday to protest against tax measures and social security reform.
Speaking to ANA, union leader Christos Gondias said that general meetings will be held later in the day to decide on further action.
Protesting farmers have said they will be stationed at polling stations across Greece as the country goes to vote on Sunday.
