Greece hit by bad weather
Heavy rain, strong winds and low temperatures hit many areas across Greece on Monday.
Several homes and stores were damaged when a tornado hit the outskirts of Kalamata, in the southerwestern Peloponnese.
Meanwhile, the fire service on Monday said the department had received over 100 calls asking for assistance following flash floods across the region of Attica.
Bad weather was expected to persist through Tuesday, with conditions gradually improving on Wednesday.
