Bag snatcher arrested in Rentis
A 55-year-old man was arrested in the area of Rentis, western Athens, on Monday on several counts of bag snatching, authorities announced on Tuesday.
Police believe the suspect has stolen bags from at least four female pedestrians in the areas of Nikaia and Piraeus.
A knife and five bags were discovered at the suspect's home following a police operation, authorities added.
