Body of man discovered in Menidi streambed, possibly fourth flood victim
Police believe a man whose body was discovered in a streambed in Menidi, western Attica, on Wednesday, may have drowned during last week’s floods. Another three people died in the floods which hit Attica last Thursday and Friday.
According to authorities, the man’s body was discovered by a passerby on the intersection of Aghiou Constantinou and Aristotelous Streets in Menidi.
While police sources indicated there had been no reports of people missing in the area, an investigation was underway led by officers at the Acharnon precinct.
