Chief accountant at OAED Larissa charged with fraud
The 59-year-old head of an accounting department at the regional branch of the Greek Manpower Organization (OAED) in Larissa, central Greece, was ordered not to leave the country after being charged with fraud on Monday.
According to an investigation led by OAED inspectors, the man is believed to have embezzled about 8.4 million euros from the organization’s coffers.
