Uniformed police and coast guard officers, backed by fire brigade employees, demonstrate outside the Parliament yesterday morning, during the latest in a series of protests seeking better pay and pension rights. The demonstration was planned to coincide with the debate in Parliament on a new draft law on public sector pensions, which unions say will reduce the amounts they are to receive.
