Euroworking group teleconference postponed

A Euroworking group teleconference scheduled to take place on Friday evening to discusss progess in Greece’s implementation of prior actions which are part of its third bailout, has been postponed, Kathimerini’s Brussels correspondent Eleni Varvitsiotis reported on Friday.

According to Kathimerini sources, the members of the Euroworking group were informed that the meeting would take place at a later date, when there’s “more clarity” with regard to the country meeting its obligations under the new deal.

One of the issues which remained unresolved between the Greek government and the country's creditors was the protection of primary residences of homeowners who were unable to pay their mortgages.

Meanwhile, a Eurogroup meeting of eurozone finance ministers was expected to take place on Monday.
