Two migrant traffickers escape from custody on Kastelorizo
Two suspected human traffickers from Turkey escaped from holding cells on the Aegean island of Kastelorizo on Monday.
The suspects allegedly created a fuss in their cell, causing the policeman guarding them to conduct an inspection, during which they struck him and escaped. This occurred at around 4 a.m.
They had been arrested on Sunday and were due to be taken to a prosecutor on Rhodes.
