Incendiary device goes off at post office in northern Athens

An incendiary device went off outside the post office in the northern Athens suburb of Pefki early on Monday.

The blast caused by the device, which was made from cooking gas canisters, smashed the windows at the post office but did not cause any injuries as it occurred at around 4 a.m.

No group immediately claimed responsibility for the explosion.
