Man, 56, charged with sexually abusing 9-year-old girl
A 56-year-old man alleged to have sexually abused a 9-year-old girl and to have videotaped the act was detained and charged by police in Thessaloniki Thursday.
The suspect, an employee of a local television channel, was apprehended after police received a tip-off about him and his alleged abuse of the girl, who is said to live in his neighborhood.
A search on his computer revealed photographs and videos of him and the girl and hundreds more images and videos of hardcore child pornography, according to police.
