Police arrest man accused of forging travel papers

Police on Friday arrested a 61-year-old Iranian man who is accused of running a forgery workshop in central Athens where he produced travel documents.

Police believe he sold papers to unregistered migrants for a fee of between 1,000 and 2,500 euros.

A raid on the premises uncovered forged passports, residence permits, passport photographs, cameras and identification cards.
