Funds released for expansion of Thessaloniki airport

The Civil Aviation Authority has released the 10 million euros needed to restart work on the expansion of Thessaloniki’s airport, Deputy Minister for Infrastructure Panayiotis Sgouridis announced on Friday.

The plan is to expand the existing runway as well as to clear another strip of land mines to create a second runway.
