Operation to clear Norman Atlantic ferry gets under way

Authorities in Italy have started clearing out the interior spaces of the Norman Atlantic, the Greek passenger ferry that went up in flames off the coast of Corfu last year, killing at least 12 passengers and two rescue workers.
Italian media on Monday said that investigators hope the operation to clear the vessel will provide evidence regarding the fate of at least 18 people who are believed missing and possibly dead.
They will also be seeking more clues into the cause of the blaze.
