Metro service to airport to be disrupted by stoppage on Monday

There will be no Proastiakos suburban railway between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Monday due to a work stoppage by employees.

This means that the metro service to and from Athens International Airport will also be disrupted as the section of the line between Doukissis Plakentias and the airport is controlled by the Hellenic Railways Organization (OSE), which also oversees the suburban railway.

Also, buses that run between Kiato, west of Athens, and Patra, and are operated by Proastiakos will not be in service during the hours in question.

Passengers are advised to call 14511 or log on at www.trainose.gr for more information.
