Brazilian arrested at Athens airport linked to drug racket
A 26-year-old Brazilian woman who was arrested at Athens International Airport on Wednesday with around 5 kilograms of cocaine in her luggage is believed to be a key member of a major racket smuggling drugs from Latin America to Greece, sources indicated Thursday.
The woman arrived in Athens on a flight from Sao Paolo via Zurich, according to officials who said the drugs had been concealed inside 63 packages of hair dye.
