Two men that had been missing in western Greece since early on New Year’s Day have been found dead.
Rescue teams had been searching since Friday for Vassilis Gratsanis, 35, and Yiannis Kordosis, 40, but only found on Monday the car they had been using.
The vehicle was in a ditch near the town of Messolonghi. It appears that it skidded off a country road. Both of the men’s bodies were in the vehicle.
The two men were picked up on CCTV leaving a bar at 4.30 a.m. on New Year’s Day. The last time a mobile phone mast picked up a signal from one of their phones was 5.10 near the village of Neohori.
