Sea travel resumes
Most scheduled ferry services across Greece resumed on Thursday afternoon, after strong winds reaching up to 9 on the Beaufort scale hampered sea travel earlier in the day.
However, authorities said that hydrofoil services between the port of Piraeus and Saronic Gulf islands had been suspended, while regular ferries were operating on schedule.
Services between Kavala and Prinos in northern Greece had also been suspended, while services on the Kyllini-Zakynthos route in western Greece depended on the ferries’ captains.
