Seamen’s pension fund workers to strike Monday, Tuesday

Employees at the Seamen’s Pension Fund (NAT) are due to strike on Monday and Tuesday in protest at the government’s proposals for social security reform.

The workers’ union is particularly opposed to the idea of NAT being merged into a main pension fund.

The union is due to hold a general assembly on Tuesday to decide on possible further action.
